Erev Shavuot, the holiday commemorating our receipt of the Torah begins on Thursday night, May 28th. We will be holding our annual Tikkum Lyel Shavuot Evening of Learning at 7 PM that evening via Zoom. Here are the currently scheduled presenters:

Rabbi Sandy Rosenstein – “The Story of Ruth, the Great Grandmother of King David”

Student Rabbi Miriam Hoffman – “Feminist Criticism of the Rachel and Leah Story”

Stuart Wald: “The Aleinu: A Prayer for all Time” and if there is time, “The Search for the Temple Treasures”

Mark Grosser: “Every Journey Begins…Creating the Yotzer Experience – an Exploration of the first blessing before the Shema”
